Paola & and Andreas

We met in Mexico City in 2023. Paola had moved there for what was supposed to be six months. Life had other plans.

Our first date took three tries. Paola cancelled the first two. By the third, the only time either of us had left was a Tuesday at 10 PM. We went anyway, and that has pretty much been our rhythm ever since.

Andreas loves Legos and tennis. Paola agreed to let the Legos live in the living room. In return, she figured out that Andreas will go almost anywhere she wants if there is a match involved. That is how we ended up in Australia and New Zealand, Italy and the Dolomites, and most recently Atlanta for the World Cup.

Then Andreas proposed at Glacier Point in Yosemite. Paola had no idea it was coming that day, and no doubt at all about the answer.

We chose Cartagena because Colombia is where Paola is from, and it is one of the most beautiful cities in the country. Andreas loves it too. It is also a place our families and friends in Lima, Mexico City, the US and across Colombia can all get to. Mostly, we wanted to show you a piece of home.
